For a while now the buzz has been around Ajax (Asynchronus Javascript and XML). This is insanely powerful and greatly improves the user's experience. It converts a classic client/server interaction to give the impression of a windows based application. obviously it's still doing client/server communication, but is event driven instead of purely being page driven. If you've played with Google Maps, then you've seen the power of Ajax.
With this sponsored post, I'd like to talk about AJAX Workspace, which is a Online collaboration tool for teamwork and project management : AjaxWorkspace.
When I first visited the site, I was slightly confused. What is this and what do I get? It appears to be a portal application that is powered by Ajax to perform various management tasks. Two things came immediately to mind. Number one, how customizable is it? It appears to be dashboard based, so I'm assuming I can move widgets around, but can I customize the data I see within the widget? And number two, is this secure? I'm curious if all transfers are through SSL, and what measures do they take to secure my data.
What I've seen looks to be very impressive. The design appears to be very clean and professionally done. Also, you can't beat the price right now. They're offering a free plans during their promotional period.
